28th March- FINAL STUDENT EVENT IN ESTONIA

27th March - FINAL STUDENT EVENT IN KENYA
The “Makutano Junction” project had its grand finale in Kenya on 27th March 2015 in an event that brought together teachers, pupils and some community members to St. Teresa’s Catholic Church Halls in Nairobi to view the developed videos as well as share their experience in taking part in the student-made video projects and the entire project. Makutano Junction teachers workshops in North Yorkshire
Eleven teachers (including two head teachers) met in the Children’s Centre in Skipton on 18 September to meet Helen Garforth from ‘Just Ideas’, who has been very involved in developing the global learning resources for the Makutano Junction project, and to hear from Caris Kingham from Lothersdale School, who piloted several of the resources with her class last term. Today we celebrate the WORLD HUMANITARIAN DAY.
